Digesic is the commercial name for Dextropropoxyphene, an analgesic pain ranging from mild to moderate. The drug is part of the opioid category and it is sometimes used as a local anesthetic or as a medication for cough and related conditions. Furthermore, Digesic has been compared to methadone, a synthetic opioid.

It is counter indicated to people with liver or kidney problems, elder people or children, suicidal people or prone to other kinds of dependencies.
